40 cards + 8 envelope labels · 3 x 5 in · US Letter and A4 PDFs · King James Version
Forty King James Version passages for reading, reflection and prayer in sickness, weariness and recovery. Each 3 x 5 inch card prints its passage in full, with its reference and a short context note that names the passage's original setting and points you back to the chapter. The set draws from Isaiah 40 and 43, Jeremiah 30, Psalms 6, 18, 41 and 73, James 5 and 2 Corinthians 4 and 12. Keep a card by a sickbed, leave one after a visit or tuck one into a get-well card with one of the eight printed envelope labels.

What makes this edition Apostolic
James 5:14-15 is printed in full on its own cards: "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:" (James 5:14) and "And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." (James 5:15). The cards keep the verses as written, with no added ritual. The context notes are original reading aids, kept separate from Scripture, and every verse is checked word for word against two KJV sources.

Questions before you print
What do I receive?
One ZIP download with two PDFs, US Letter and A4, 13 pages each, and a README. Each PDF holds a cover, a print guide with a passage index, ten sheets of four cards and one sheet of eight envelope labels.
Which passages are included?
Forty King James Version passages from Isaiah 40:28-31, Jeremiah 30:17, Psalm 18, James 5:13-16, Psalm 73, 2 Corinthians 4 and 12, Isaiah 43:2, Psalm 6 and Psalm 41:1-4. Every card prints its passage in full, and the passage index on page 2 lists all forty references.
What is on each card?
The full KJV passage, a short context note naming its original setting with a chapter to read, the reference and the card number.
Are the context notes part of Scripture?
No. They are original reading aids, kept separate from the KJV text.
What size are the cards?
3 x 5 inches, printed four to a landscape sheet. The envelope labels are 3 x 1.5 inches, eight to a sheet.
How do I print them?
Choose the file that matches your paper. Print one-sided at 100% scale with fit to page turned off, check the one-inch line on page 2, then cut on the outer card borders. Cardstock works well for the cards and full-sheet adhesive paper for the labels.
Is anything shipped?
No. This is a digital download. No printed cards, envelopes or cardstock are shipped.
Where do I find my files?
Your purchase email links to My downloads, where you can download your files again any time.
