Fifteen verse-lookup clues send players to Matthew and Luke to find a name, a place, a phrase or a word, from the angel's message to Joseph to the wise men going home another way. Then play Which Came First?: twenty-four pairs of events from the nativity story, and players choose the one that happened earlier. The host keys give every answer with the King James words that prove it, and the kit prints every quoted verse in full, so you can read the Scripture together when the game is done. Is anything shipped?
No. This is a digital download: four printable PDFs and a Start Here note. Nothing is mailed.
Which file do I print?
The main kit has everything you need. The activity cards are optional: the same 15 clues and 24 pairs as 39 cards, two per landscape page. Pick US Letter or A4 to match your paper.
How many people can play?
Any number of players or teams. Print a hunt answer sheet and a Which Came First? answer sheet for each player or team.
What ages is it for?
Families, and ages 6 and up with an adult reading.
How long does it take?
It depends on your pace. You can play the verse-lookup hunt, Which Came First?, or both.
Can players use their Bibles?
Yes for the hunt: each clue gives a KJV reference to look up. For Which Came First?, the host decides.
Which Bible version is quoted?
The King James Version. The host keys quote the KJV words for each answer, and every quoted verse is printed in full in the main kit.
How should I print?
At 100% scale, single-sided. The main kit is portrait; the activity cards are landscape.
