A lawyer asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbour?” Jesus answered with a road. In this paper escape room, teams of teens walk that road from Jerusalem down toward Jericho in seven stops. Each stop has its own puzzle: Scripture coordinates, a strike-out strip, a pouch of doubled coins, a spiral bandage, a who-did-what sort, a two-sided road and the innkeeper’s scrambled note. Every word they find is proved by an exact line from the King James Version printed on the same page. The seven words go into the Road Log, where the shaded boxes line up into one column and give Jesus’ last instruction to the lawyer. The closing pages print Acts 2:37 and 2:38 in full and end in prayer to the Lord Jesus.

Questions before you print
What do I get?
One ZIP with four printable PDFs: the Player Kit (14 pages) and the Host Guide (11 pages), each in US Letter and A4, plus a Start Here note.
Is anything shipped?
No. This is a digital download; you print the pages at home or at a print shop.
Do I need locks or boxes?
No. It is a tabletop paper game. Teams need the printed pages and pencils.
How many players?
Teams of 2 to 5 is the design target, one Player Kit per team. Larger groups can play as several teams side by side.
What age is it for, and how long does it take?
It is written for teens, suggested ages 12 and up, and plans for about 30 to 60 minutes plus discussion. Both are design targets, not tested limits.
What if a team gets stuck?
Each stop has three hint levels in the Host Guide: a first nudge, a stronger nudge and the answer. Every stop word also fills a KJV line printed on its own page, so teams can check themselves.
Which Bible version is quoted?
The King James Version. Every verse quoted is printed in full: Luke 10:25 to 10:37, and Acts 2:37 and 2:38.
Is the final message hidden in the Bible?
No. The road stops and the puzzles are invented for the game; the parable in Luke 10 is not. The shaded column points to Jesus’ words in Luke 10:37, “Go, and do thou likewise.”
How do I print it?
Choose the PDFs that match your paper and print single-sided at 100% scale (no fit or shrink). Print one Scripture page first to check that it is easy to read.
