An archive keeper has sealed seven records from Daniel 6. Teams of teens work through seven paper clues: a card sort, a mirror code, missing words, a split report, a logic puzzle, a letter grid and a final table. Every code word completes an exact line from the King James Version, so players check each answer against Scripture before they move on. One letter from each code word opens the final message, taken from the king’s words in Daniel 6:16. The game closes at Daniel’s open window: he kept praying as he always had. The last pages print Acts 2:38 and Acts 2:42 in full and close in prayer to the Lord Jesus.

Questions before you print
What do I get?
One ZIP with four printable PDFs: the Player Kit (15 pages) and the Host Guide (12 pages), each in US Letter and A4, plus a Start Here note.
Is anything shipped?
No. This is a digital download; you print the pages at home or at a print shop.
Do I need locks or boxes?
No. It is a tabletop paper game. Teams need the printed pages and pencils. Envelopes are optional, and the Player Kit has labels for them.
How many players?
Teams of 2 to 5 are suggested, one Player Kit per team. Larger groups can play as several teams side by side.
What age is it for, and how long does it take?
It is written for teens, suggested ages 12 and up, and plans for about 30 to 60 minutes plus discussion. Ages, timing and team size are all design targets, not tested limits.
What if a team gets stuck?
Each clue has three hint levels in the Host Guide; the third gives the answer. Every code word also completes a KJV line printed on its clue page, so teams can check their own answers.
Which Bible version is quoted?
The King James Version. Every verse quoted is printed in full: Daniel 6:4, 6:9, 6:10, 6:16, 6:17, 6:19, 6:20, 6:22, 6:26 and 6:27, and Acts 2:38 and 2:42.
Is the final message hidden in the Bible?
No. The archive story and the codes are invented for the game; the Bible account of Daniel 6 is not. The final word is taken from the king’s words in Daniel 6:16.
How do I print it?
Choose the PDFs that match your paper and print single-sided at 100% scale (no fit or shrink). Print one Scripture reference page first to check that it is easy to read.
